Press Release: No Horizons Alpha Testing

The new space dogfighter game from Zombie Donuts developer Virtro – has opened registrations for a closed Alpha testing phase on the Samsung Gear VR and bluetooth controller, which will begin on April 2.

A “select group” of gamers will be chosen from the sign-up list and are promised the opportunity to play the game regularly as part of the test group, helping the development team to test “gameplay, balancing and backend functionality”, while also providing their own feedback on the game’s progress. During the Alpha phase, players are promised that “new ships, quests, and ranks” will be continuously released and tested, so there should be plenty to keep Alpha testers occupied.

No Horizon describes itself as a “competitive multiplayer space dogfighter” that utilises single player campaigns and PvP squadron missions. Based on sandbox flight simulators, players must navigate around 3D space in a space fighter, while completing objectives. Single player and multiplayer co-operative and competitive modes are in development.

Anyone interested in registering for the Alpha test can do so via https://t.co/kJV1c7SZiE; successful applicants will receive their invitations via email.

There’s currently no release date for the game, so if you’re after a Gear VR hardcore flight sim, signing up for the Alpha is the best way to get your fix.
